Coaches
Find a coach near you
On Spareya you can find coaches and instructors for different sports. For each one you see what they coach, where they work, who they coach and when, and whether they are taking on new clients.
You can see coaches once you sign in.
If you are looking for a coach
- Find a coach
- You can find coaches in the “Find a coach” list and on the map after choosing the “Coaches” layer.
- Filters
- For example, you can choose only coaches who are taking on new clients, who also coach online or who speak your language.
- Ratings
- Only people who really attended a training session with the coach arranged through Spareya can rate them. Each person can rate a coach only once. The coach cannot hide or delete a rating. Coaches are sorted by rating only once they have at least five ratings. Ratings switch on in a district or area once it unlocks.
If you are a coach
You create a coach profile
In the app you tap “Create a coach profile”. You add your sports, who you coach and when, whether you take on new clients, whether you also coach online, and a few words about yourself.
You choose where you work
You choose the district or area, or the town or village, where you coach. If you want, you can also add a specific venue. You never enter your home address, so your home will not be on the map.
You submit your profile for review
When your profile is ready, you tap “Submit for review”. Once it is approved, you get the “Verified coach” badge and appear in the list of coaches. Verification and the badge are free.
Training children and young people
On Spareya, a coach can train children and young people only under a club that is verified for working with young people.
